






Maya Cardona is a rower with the Miami Rowing Club and will join the varsity team in 2025-2026
Liana Del Junco runs Track and Field for the Miami Elite Track and Field team and is a sprinter who has learned "resilience" through her running events. Liana runs in the 100m, 200m, 400m, and has qualified for the Jr. Olympics in the 800m. Liana wants to study Bio Med as a future major.



Senior Rafael Llera of SAS North Campus runs in Cross Country and Track for Braddock Senior High School. Rafael is a 3 time State Qualifier in these sports and hopes to obtain an athletic/academic scholarship next year to a top university.





SAS Homestead senior Ramon Valoy plays right field for the Southridge Senior High varsity baseball team and was the Team Captain and MVP for their JV team last school year.



Congratulations to SAS West senior Isabella Osorno who plays basketball for SLAM Charter High School. They are advancing to the state championship for their division on Friday, February 28 to be held in Lakeland, Florida. Good luck to Isabella and her teammates.



SAS Kendall senior Ivette Fernandez plays Varsity Girl's Basketball for Ferguson High School and has been the starting Point Guard there for the last 3 years of high school. Ivette was a big part of helping Ferguson become the District Finals Champion and earned All Dade Miami Herald Honorable Mention in 10th grade. She is a top academic student at SAS Kendall wants to go on to medical school in the future and become a Dermatologist. But she also loves playing basketball and will continue to play that sport.
Jade Sanchez is a senior at SAS Homestead Campus who plays Volleyball for South Dade Senior High School. She also plays for a club team called "LuMaDe" and plans to continue the sport next year as a senior while earning her Associate in Arts degree from Miami Dade College through SAS Homestead Campus. Congratulations to Remy Dou, a senior at SAS West , who was named to the First Team All Dade Bowling Team by the Miami Herald this morning. Remy competes with Ferguson High and has a 202 season average in bowling. SAS/AAA Proud!!!




SAS Homestead senior Zeus Tabora plays soccer for a club soccer team in Miami and is a "call up" for the Honduran National Team and a MLS Next player whose team reached the quarter finals of the MLS Cup. Zeus hopes to play soccer for a university some day or become a professional soccer athlete. One of his main goals is to win a trophy with his national team. SAS/AAA Proud!!!





Over the summer of 2025, Mateo achieved outstanding athletics results at both the North American and World Championships in the ILCA 6 class. Sailing has been a passion of his since the age of seven, and he is currently a member of the U.S. Youth Sailing Team representing the United States of America at international events.

Finishing 12th overall and as the top American sailor among 140 elite competitors from around the world is an incredible achievement. Over the course of 6 days, sailors completed 12 races, with wind conditions ranging from 6 to 18 knots. Ayah Mawiyah El plays basketball for Norland Senior High and is a Team Captain.
