School for Advanced Studies is located on five campuses of Miami Dade College (Homestead, Kendall, North in Hialeah, West in Doral, and Wolfson in downtown Miami). SAS is a public high school which is part of the Miami-Dade County Public Schools district and was recently recognized by U.S. News and World Report and the "Best High School in Florida" and the "Fifth Best High School in the United States."
