Congratulations to SAS North senior Haylee St. Hilaire and SAS North junior Anaya Brown who just got back from Lakeland, Florida where they competed yesterday in the Florida State Championships for Girl's weightlifting. Anaya Brown finished 9th in the state with a 115 lb Snatch and 145 lb Clean and ***. Haylee finished first in the State gaining the title of State Champion with a 120 lb Snatch and 155 lb Clean and ***. Haylee and Anaya formerly attended Doctors Charter for 9th and 10th grade and they are still part of their team.

Junior Rafael Llera of SAS North Campus runs in Cross Country and Track for Braddock Senior High School. Rafael is a 3 time State Qualifier in these sports and hopes to obtain an athletic/academic scholarship next year to a top university.




Congratulations to SAS Kendall 2025 Silver Knight nominee in Athletics Tatiana Santacoloma who was named to the All Dade Golf Team as an Honorable Mention by the Miami Herald this morning. Tatiana competes in golf with Coral Gables senior high and also is a tremendous figure skater on the ice. Tatiana created a service project to help athletes deal with the stressors of athletic competition and protect their mental health. We are proud of you Tatiana Santacoloma!!!



SAS Homestead junior Ramon Valoy plays right field for the Southridge Senior High varsity baseball team and was the Team Captain and MVP for their JV team last school year.



Congratulations to SAS West junior Isabella Osorno who plays basketball for SLAM Charter High School. They are advancing to the state championship for their division on Friday, February 28 to be held in Lakeland, Florida. Good luck to Isabella and her teammates.



SAS Kendall junior Ivette Fernandez plays Varsity Girl's Basketball for Ferguson High School and has been the starting Point Guard there for the last 3 years of high school. Ivette was a big part of helping Ferguson become the District Finals Champion and earned All Dade Miami Herald Honorable Mention in 10th grade. She is a top academic student at SAS Kendall wants to go on to medical school in the future and become a Dermatologist. But she also loves playing basketball and will continue to play that sport.
Jade Sanchez is a junior at SAS Homestead Campus who plays Volleyball for South Dade Senior High School. She also plays for a club team called "LuMaDe" and plans to continue the sport next year as a senior while earning her Associate in Arts degree from Miami Dade College through SAS Homestead Campus. Congratulations to Gabrielle Miriki, who was named to the All Dade Volleyball Team as an Honorable Mention by the Miami Herald. Gaby competes in high school volleyball with True North Classical Academy and club volleyball with Miami Volleyball Academy. She will be continuing her academic and athletic career playing volleyball at The University of Chicago starting this fall.




Congratulations to Remy Dou, a junior at SAS West , who was named to the First Team All Dade Bowling Team by the Miami Herald this morning. Remy competes with Ferguson High and has a 202 season average in bowling. SAS/AAA Proud!!!




SAS Homestead junior Zeus Tabora plays soccer for a club soccer team in Miami and is a "call up" for the Honduran National Team and a MLS Next player whose team reached the quarter finals of the MLS Cup. Zeus hopes to play soccer for a university some day or become a professional soccer athlete. One of his main goals is to win a trophy with his national team. SAS/AAA Proud!!!
Annasophia Teixeira is a senior at SAS Homestead Campus but she plays soccer for Somerset Academy South Homestead Charter School. Annasophia Scored 4 goals, 7 assists, on 63 shots during the 24-25 season. Her team went all the way to the Semi-Finals. Annasophia is planning to play club soccer at the university she attends after high school graduation.


SAS Wolfson senior Ethan Ebizadeh and SAS Wolfson junior Simon Paley are State Champions in Doubles Rowing through the Miami Beach Rowing Club.




SAS Wolfson senior Skyler Atkatz rows for the Miami Beach Rowing Club. He is being recruited as a Division 1 athlete because he is a 3 time State Champion in rowing and 2 time Regional Champion and a National Finalist. Skyler hopes to win the IRA Championships as well as win the Head of the Charles Regatta. SAS/AAA Proud!!!



Alvaro Delgado is a senior at SAS Homestead and swims for South Dade Senior High School where he was recognized with the "Coaches Award." Alvaro wants to major in Biology on a Pre-Med track at FIU next fall. He would like to become a medical doctor in the future. SAS/AAA Proud!
