Academic Advisement

While you are a student at School for Advanced Studies, your primary advisor is your high school campus counselor. He or she has a unique knowledge of the dual-enrollment, high school, and Miami-Dade College programs.

Students pursuing an AA degree must discuss their course of study with the Miami-Dade College Academic Advisement and Counseling Department. In addition, students may want to discuss academic options with college instructors and department chairs.

Please remember that actual schedule changes MUST be initiated and completed by the SAS counselor.
